Sundar Pichai. I started to read the book to know the person who have achieved an unparallel success in the field of technology. The author of the book Jagmohan S. Bhanver has taken a lots of effort to delve into the life of Techno giant.

The book let’s to know us about much of the live of the Techno giant . Sundar was born to a happy couple; father Raghunatha and mother Laxmi. From the childhood the boy was studious and was busy all the time in reading something or the other. Pichai family was not impecunious, their coffers were certainly not overflowing with riches either. Though he must not have got many luxuries but the quality of education provided was taken care of. The book tells us about his immense love for Cricket. Holding the families first Rotary phone attracted him towards Technology.

Sundar studied at Jawahar  Vidyalay in Ashoka Nagar,Chennai. The boy was so quite that not even the faculty of the school would remember him properly. The principal of the school joked that, professors tend to remember either the top or the naughty ones. Sundar was an intelligent boy , but a quite one nevertheless. He studied abroad ( Stanford University) merely on his own talent ,without spending single penny from house.  The giant received the scholarship for his further education at Wharton (MBA).

  Before working at google  he was employed to McKinsey(most reputed management consulting firm).While our character was still perceiving education many big companies were born under the leadership of most powerful men of those decades. Apple.INC was founded  , Amazon started emerging as an profiting company, Microsoft and many more. At the time Google was founded and the founders were keen on hiring the top talents. Recruitment of Sundar into Google was a boon to the company in ensuing years. Sundar was first appointed as product manager. His responsibilities were related to search and consumer product like: Google toolbar, iGoogle and desktop research. The updates in the toolbar were made which almost saved a millions of customers of Google, shifting to other search engines(detail mentioned in book).This was not enough to ascend to the position which he is right now. The introduction of Google Chrome by Sundar was a turning point not only to the tech giant(google) but to the hero of the biography too. Then onwards good times for Sundar continued. By his leadership qualities , patience, hardwork, perseverance he has impressed everyone in the decade. We must try to learn from his life something or the other. How a boy from middle class family can achieve a magnificent success.

It is highly motivating to know a common person from India achieving the post of CEO of Google(tech giant) by his hardwork, patience, problem solving skills and many more. He is really a role model to youngster, whom they can follow. One should read the book once in the lifetime.Hatsoff!! to the hero ‘SUNDAR PICHAI’.

What I learned from the book: The book teaches us many things but the thing which attracted me the most was his(Sundar Pichai) passion towards his work,technology,his patience,etc.Just with the help of talent one can achieve an unprecedented success.
